Turning a little into a lot. Mobilizing communities to collect food to support local food pantries since 2011!
This year's Hunger is Scary food drive is up and running! We have several drop-off locations (see below), and many volunteers are trick-or-treating throughout town to collect food this Halloween. If you can help, please consider hosting a food collection site, hosting a food drive, or donating directly to your favorite food pantry. Hosting a Hunger Is Scary food drive is easy and can be done safely with everyone's health and safety in mind. We are looking for kids of ANY age, and with just a little bit of time and effort, we can help fill the shelves at the CFA!

Our goal is to engage local teenagers in their communities by providing them a way to volunteer on Halloween. Our platform allows young-adults to organize their communities to help those is need during the holiday season by providing donations to local food pantries. By organizing a street, neighborhood, or even a whole town, a single Volunteer can rally an entire community around a common cause of fighting hunger. Volunteers practice communication and organization skills and gain invaluable community service experience. Browse our website to find out all the ways you can get involved!
